CENIMAT|i3N hosted a delegation from the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), one of the largest scientific organizations in the world, last Friday, September 20, with the aim of promoting the exchange of knowledge and strengthening cooperation between scientific institutions in both countries.
NOVA FCT's Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, Professor João Paulo Santos, welcomed the Chinese delegation in the Leopoldo Guimarães amphitheatre.
The visit continued with a presentation by Professor Elvira Fortunato, vice-coordinator of CENIMAT|i3N, who had the opportunity to highlight the main areas of research, awards and projects developed at the center. At the end of the presentation, Professor Elvira Fortunato led the delegation on a guided tour of CENIMAT|i3N's laboratories, where they were shown some of the center's state-of-the-art equipment.
CENIMAT|i3N thus reaffirms its position as a center of excellence in scientific research and as an attractive hub for international collaboration, contributing to the promotion of technological advances.
