On April 12th, Professor Elvira Fortunato participated in the prestigious roundtable discussion "Basic Research and the Future Nobel", where she shared insights into the vital role of fundamental science in shaping the next generation of Nobel-worthy discoveries.
Following this, on April 13th, Professor Rodrigo Martins took the stage at the Asia-Europe Science and Technology Innovation Development and Cooperation Forum. In his opening speech, titled "European Academy of Sciences: in support of excellence in Asia-Europe Science and Technology", he emphasized the importance of institutional collaboration and the pursuit of scientific excellence between the two continents.
