It was a real pleasure to welcome Malgorzata Szczerska, leader of PhoBioS - COST Action CA21159, and her PhD student Patryk Sokołowski, to CENIMAT|i3N during their visit to Portugal!

Join us for an engaging and informal talk on Laboratory Medicine — a crucial field that supports nearly 70% of all medical diagnoses. In this 10th NANOMAT-Talk, Prof. Paulo Paixão (NOVA Medical School, Comprehensive Health Research Center (CHRC)) will explore the technological advances that have transformed microbiological and analytical testing, with a special focus on the growing role of nanotechnology in this multidisciplinary landscape.

CENIMAT|i3N, NANOMAT, and the Department of Materials Science (DCM) are participating in the Oeiras Valley Science Festival 2025, taking place at IST Taguspark from May 21 to 25.
