We were delighted to host the student delegation from the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering at Zhejiang University (ZJU) for a full-day program at CENIMAT|i3N – NOVA FCT.

We invite the entire community to attend Professor Frank Giesselmann's seminar, entitled “Chitin Nanocrystals from Various Biological Sources and their Chiral Nematic Suspensions in Water,” which will take place in Amphitheater 128, Building II (DCM), on July 16, at 11h00.

As part of the Science 2025 Meeting, i3N, CICECO, and NANOMAT organized the parallel session:
Science of Excellence in Advanced Materials for the Society of the Future,
which will take place on July 11 | 🕥 11h30 – 13h00, in Amphitheater B137, Carcavelos, NOVA SBE Campus.

On July 10th, CENIMAT|i3N will welcome Professor Nazario Martín, Full Professor at University Complutense of Madrid and vice-director of
the IMDEA-Nanoscience Institute. Professor Martín will deliver a seminar entitled «Molecular Nanographenes for Organic Electronics», where some recent and amazing NGs stemming from his research group will be presented and discussed.
