As stated by the Evaluation Panel: «The scientific excellence is outstanding, as also indicated by 11 European Research Council (ERC) grants earned by their researchers (2 advanced, 2 consolidators, 2 starting and 5 POC) and the large numbers and high-quality publications (e.g. Advanced Materials, Nature Reviews, etc.). (...) Overall, an outstanding unit with impressive scientific, technological and educational achievements.»

Yesterday, at 6pm, at the Cupra City Garage in Lisbon, Professor Elvira Fortunato was once again recognised as one of Portugal's 50 Most Influential Women, in a distinction promoted by Executiva.pt.

On April 10th at 14:00, CENIMAT|i3N will host the 6th NANOMAT-Talk, entitled “Eco-Bloks”, presented by Dr. Elad Kaspin, Chief Operating Officer at Cânhamor. The talk will take place at the CENIMAT|i3N Auditorium.

On 9th April, at 2pm, the CENIMAT|i3N amphitheater will host Professor Paulo Ferreira, Scientific Coordinator of INL's Advanced Electron Microscopy, Imaging and Spectroscopy Center, for the seminar ‘Exploring the Frontiers of Nanoscience: INL Contribution and Atomic Engineering by STEM’.
