Professor Manuel Mendes was recently featured on Antena 2 Ciência to share insights about the X-STREAM project

This ambitious initiative, funded by a €2 million ERC Consolidator Grant, aims to revolutionize solar energy harvesting. By improving solar cells with advanced light management, the project could have a major impact on how we produce and use clean energy.

As Professor Manuel Mendes Mendes explained «This project shows that we can theoretically achieve much higher efficiencies with the new solar cells we are developing».
