The ‘Steadylife’ project, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) application that aims to revolutionise Parkinson's diagnosis, was the big winner of the 13th edition of the NOVA FCT Entrepreneurship Programme.

SteadyLife aims to revolutionise the method of diagnosing Parkinson's Disease, which affects 10 million people worldwide and 18,000 patients in Portugal.

This requires no additional equipment, just a mobile phone with internet access.

The team won 1000 euros for 1st place in the competition, plus 500 euros for the corporate Build The Future Award from NTT DATA.
