For the sixth year in a row, Professor Elvira Fortunato has been voted “Trusted Personality in Research and Science” by Reader's Digest readers.
This year’s results are particularly remarkable, with a significant leap in trust: rising from 25% last year to 48% in 2026.
This recognition, based on the "Trusted Brands 2026" study (conducted between September and November 2025), uses an open-ended nomination process, making this spontaneous choice by the public even more meaningful.
