By decision of the Board of Directors, NOVA.id.FCT - Associação para a Inovação e Desenvolvimento da FCT (“NOVA.id.FCT”) opens an international call to hire a PhD Researcher, with the internal reference #NOVAID236, under a unfixed term employment contract to conduct research activities in the field of material, Chemistry, Physics, and electronics in the scope of the Project / R & D Unit "TERRAMETA - TERahertz ReconfigurAble METAsurfaces for ultra-high rate wireless communications”, Ref.ª [101097101]" financed by European Union (Horizon Europe).
Main attributions and activities and exclusivity: The PhD researcher will be responsible for the fabrication of an RF memristor switch and integrating the device into a reconfigurable intelligent system array. Knowledge of 2D materials, ECM-type memristor devices, and hands-on cleanroom experience, such as lithography and chemical processing, is required. Experience in modeling and antenna design is also desirable.
