Today, July 1st, the Tivoli BBVA Theatre in Lisbon hosts the prestigious HiTech 2026 Closing Session. Out of the ten finalist projects presenting their deep tech business cases, we are proud to highlight two pioneering projects from i3N research teams and one from AlmaScience, our associated laboratory.

Under the theme "Direction of Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor," this talk will explore the evolution of materials and architectures in these critical devices. The session will address the future challenges associated with emerging electronic technologies and applications that demand efficient energy supply for signal stabilization and control.

i3N recently had the pleasure of welcoming back one of its distinguished former post-doctoral researchers, Prof. Jinzhong Wang, showcasing the enduring global impact of our institute’s alumni network.
