Duarte Oliveira, a PhD Student from i3N, has been distinguished with the best poster award during the conference “Shaping the Future of Bio-inspired Photonics”, held on February 11th at the Ágora Room, NOVA FCT. The event was organized by the Management Committee of the COST Action PhoBioS (CA21159).

To mark the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we hosted a powerful Round Table session yesterday at the Leopoldo Guimarães Amphitheatre. It was an afternoon dedicated to reflection, shared experiences, and championing the role of women in STEM.

No âmbito do Dia Internacional das Mulheres e Raparigas na Ciência, realiza-se no próximo 11 de fevereiro de 2026, pelas 15h00, no Anfiteatro Leopoldo Guimarães, uma Mesa-Redonda dedicada à reflexão e partilha de percursos femininos na ciência, tecnologia e educação.

A sessão será moderada por Filipa Mendes e contará com a presença de convidadas representantes dos setores académico, empresarial e da administração local.
