CENIMAT|i3N and Macau University of Science and Technology establish strategic partnerships to boost nanotechnology and materials science research

On 5 March, CENIMAT|i3N hosted a delegation from the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) and the Macao Government. The visit was highlighted by the signing of two important cooperation agreements to promote research collaboration, academic exchanges and innovation in the fields of materials science and nanotechnology.

The signing ceremony, in the presence of Professor João Amaro de Matos (Vice-Rector of NOVA), Professor José Júlio Alferes (Dean of NOVA FCT) and Professor Elvira Fortunato (Vice-Coordinator of CENIMAT|i3N), formalised partnerships with MUST and Macao Institute of Materials Science and Engineering (MIMSE), to create new platforms for research and development. The agreements include initiatives for student exchanges, joint research projects and the creation of an international joint research center for materials science and nanotechnology.

The visit also included a guided tour of CENIMAT|i3N's laboratories, which showcased cutting-edge research in synthesis and printing, chemistry, nanofabrication, nanoanalysis and innovative "Electronic Paper - Fun Paper" technologies.
